The board has spent a lot of time preparing the foundation to comply with the guidelines of the ANBI legislation. The application of the Obed Foundation was approved by the Tax Authorities this month. As a result of the granting of ANBI status, your donations are tax deductible from 1 January 2015, provided you qualify.

Thanks to your donations we were able to fill more than the 70 bags we needed, we were able to fill 125 bags! The extra bags went to a shelter for teenage girls and to a family where a fire has reduced their entire house to ashes. We were able to further support this family by distributing collected relief goods to them.
