MILESTONES • The roof tiles are on it! 🥳🏘️ In case you missed it? Family home Casa Nadina is expanding. The extension is now complete and the roof tiles have been on the building since last Saturday. Romanian pace sometimes takes some getting used to, that's why we're super happy with this fact!
Fun fact: these roof tiles were made possible in part by the Hope for Kids Foundation and the Evangelical Church of Immanuël in Heerde. This municipality held a special roof tile campaign. Each member of the congregation received €3 with the task of increasing this. Each roof tile cost €3. In the end they collected more than 3000 roof tiles! Enough for almost two roofs.
And now we are living up to July 1: Obed in Action. On that day we hope to raise enough money to finish the inside. Bedrooms, bathrooms, floors: everything for a warm and safe family home.
